These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Loop mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services") operated by The Loop ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and that your use of the Services does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

You retain ownership of any content you post to the Services, including scores, comments, and profile information ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating the Services.
You represent that you have the right to post any User Content you submit and that your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party.
The Loop calculates handicaps and scores based on the World Handicap System (WHS). These calculations are provided for informational and social purposes only. The Loop is not an authorised handicap service and scores recorded on the platform are not official WHS handicap records. For official handicap records, please use a WHS-authorised service through your golf club or national golf association.
The Services and all content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content) are owned by The Loop and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services without our express written permission.
The Services integrate with third-party services including Apple (Sign in with Apple), Google (Sign in with Google, Google Places), and various golf course data providers. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Golf course information, par values, stroke indexes, and course ratings are sourced from third-party providers and may not always be accurate or up to date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Loop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@jointheloop.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
